Located in the carving shed at the end of Johnston Street, across from Opus Art Supplies
Renowned Haida carver Clarence Mills has returned to Granville Island and is carving in the shed on the south-east corner of the Hub (formerly Emily Carr University). Clarence has been creating art on Granville Island off and on for the past 22 years, and we are happy to have him back once again. Visit the carving shed to see an authentic Haida artist at work, as he transforms cedar into works of art embodying the mythology of his culture.
Please note that Clarence does not keep a specific schedule; he may not be in the shed at all times.
