Thanks to everyone who made 2017 one of our most successful Farmers Market seasons in recent memory with more than 20 regular vendors in attendance, covering everything you could want that is Made, Baked, Grown and Distilled!
The stellar weather also made for the best end to our season with our Fall Fest, food demonstrations from Alia Sunderji and Angus An and, of course, our annual Pie Baking Contest.
Celebrating over 30 years of all things farm-fresh, Granville Island Farmers Market is the most established and oldest of its kind in Vancouver. Throughout the summer and early autumn months, it’s the go-to place to get the freshest produce from local farmers - from the field to your table in hours.
From plants and flowers to fruits and vegetables, you’ll be met with a range of products when you come check out the Farmers Market on Granville Island. (We recently expanded our offerings to include Liquor Vendors - micro-breweries, wineries and cideries.) Bring your reusable bag (or pick one up at our Administration Table) to the Farmers Market location in Triangle Square (conveniently in between the Net Loft and Public Market), 10 am to 3 pm, every Thursday, June to September. A handful of vendors accept cash payments only, but we have both Vancity and RBC ATMs nearby. And remember to bike, walk, take transit or hop on one of the passenger ferries servicing False Creek to get here.
Visit us every Thursday, 10 am to 3 pm, starting in June until late September, and make it part of your regular Public Market shopping experience.
