Pop Up Spaces Available to Lease

Granville Island is known as Vancouver’s premier artistic and cultural hub. Located in an urban, waterfront location and steeped in a rich industrial and maritime heritage, this unique destination attracts millions of visitors each year from Vancouver and around the world. Granville Island is famous for its Public Market and is abundant with unique retailers, restaurants, cultural venues and theatres, galleries and studios. All of this makes Granville Island a great place to launch your brand, showcase and sell your art, and connect with current and new customers daily.

We are pleased to have the opportunity to have the following spaces available for short term pop up use. We are looking for creative use artists, makers and gallerists who are able to fulfill minimum operating hours of 11am-6pm 7 days/week. Bookings will be accepted in 2-4 week timeslots.

Scheduling is based on availability and fit. Vendors must provide an offering that will complement or enhance the existing creative use tenant mix on Granville Island. Applications will be considered based on the following criteria:

- use of premises/offering

- marketing & promotion plan

- signage & space design

- ability to animate/merchandise the space 

- timeslot requested

Accepting applications for 2-4 week periods between the following dates: March 1, 2019 to April 30, 2019

  • 2,332 square feet (1,732 SF ground floor + 600 SF mezzanine)
  • The interior will be painted white before March 1
  • Two entrances + Garage Door
  • Locked office/storage area
  • Exclusive Bathroom within the space

  • Gross Rent Fee: $1,300.00 per week (plus GST) between March 1, 2019 to April 30, 2019
