Pulitzer prize winner, Donald Margulies weaves a story that is funny, relevant, and emotionally gripping. Jessie nominated Jennifer Fahrni returns to the stage as Ruth Steiner, a teacher and respected short story writer living in Greenwich Village, New York. Her student and protégée is Lisa Morrison is portrayed by up and coming talent Avery Crane. The play begins in the fall of 1990 and covers the six years when under the guidance of Ruth, Lisa journeys from insecure student to successful writer. In Collected Stories, Margulies layers trust, loyalty and mutual need into a complex web of circumstances.
