Can you spot a fake? Get your ticket to the Vancouver premiere of The Credeaux Canvas and find out! Our mission is to entertain even the most skeptical theatregoers!
Set in the East Village of New York City in the 90s, “The Credeaux Canvas,” by Keith Bunin delves into the often shadowy psyche of aspiring artists’ minds. Far from musical, this realistic narrative centres on three broke artists and their quests for recognition in the competitive art world. Burnt out on lame side jobs, they concoct a scheme to deceive an art collector with a counterfeit painting of a prostitute, purportedly by the late artist Jean-Paul Credeaux. As the characters navigate their desires for success and love, they face the consequences of deceit.
