One of the longest attending vendors, Maria has been a fixture in the Public Market since the 1990’s, raising her children and helping with other vendors’ children through the years, all while knitting away behind her table. Her knit hats are sought after by locals who return to purchase for their children, and now grandchildren! Maria also creates super soft teddy bears for little ones without any harmful choking bits. Known for her big heart, Maria donates a portion of her sales to different charity groups in her home country of Peru.
