The Secret Lantern Society returns to Granville Island to host this much loved, and long-standing seasonal event, as the annual Winter Solstice Lantern Festival illuminates the longest night of the year. A number of public activities will take place around Granville Island; festivities include a lantern procession, performances at the Waterpark and Ron Basford Park, activities and music inside the False Creek Community Centre, and a labyrinth of light inside Performance Works. Join the Secret Lantern Society as they honour many cultural solstice traditions from around the world.
