Celebrate Ballet BC’s new home! For one weekend only (May 27 + 28), new Granville Island tenant Ballet BC is opening their doors to visitors. Explore and experience the inspiring environment of one of the world’s leading contemporary dance companies. On Saturday May 27, the company invites you to discover a day in the life of a professional dancer, including the unique opportunity to view a company class, an insider’s look at the rehearsal process, and short performances of Ballet BC repertoire in newly renovated studios. On Sunday May 28, join in and dance! The company will be offering participatory classes in ballet, contemporary, and yoga, unique workshops, Q&As, and more. Registration is required for select events and space is limited.
