Come meet Circle Craft textile artist Maria Girod in store November 17 – 19. Maria works with her husband to create one-of-a-kind handknit wearables using the most sustainable natural fibres available: organic cottons, bamboo and wool in an 80/20% blend, and bulky merino wool, alpaca and silk blends chosen for sustainability as well as quality, price, and colour. Special designs are often hand embroidered onto the hats to give them that extra special touch of whimsy. Since a young child Maria has designed and sewn her own dolls and now together with her husband continues to create collectible bears with hand stitched faces.
