Fruits of My Labour will present new works in an installation of fruit shaped jewellery objects, made from decorative plastic fruit covered in recycled swimsuit lycra, displayed on mirrored surfaces. Documentation of the process, including deconstructing the clothing, creating the jewellery, and placing it on the body will be part of the installation (through sound and video). The work will address issues around women’s work, white supremacy and consumption.
