Celebrate the 36th year of the Vancouver Writers Fest! Over 115 authors appearing in-person at over 80 events across Granville Island. Events for students, youth, families, and adults, including events curated by Guest Curator Elamin Adbelmahmoud, featuring topics ranging from Blackness as a portal, and witchy novels, to the precariousness of our modern state and tangling with cultural inheritance. Established and emerging authors, including Celeste Ng, Michelle Good, Michael Crummy, Silvia Moreno-Garcia and others from across the globe join the Vancouver Writers Fest as we connect people to exceptional books, ideas, and dialogue through programming that ignites a passion for words and the world around us.
