Vancouver-based smoky-smooth trumpeter/vocalist/pianist Bonnie Northgraves style calls to the early jazz styles of New Orleans. Performing music from the ‘20s, ‘30s, and ‘40s as well as her own original music, she has been delighting audiences across the world, plus she recently released her debut album, titled Between Then And Now. For this performance she will be backed by a hard-swinging rhythm section of Vancouver’s own Dean Thiessen piano and Wynston Minckler bass, joined by London (UK) based drummer Oscar Reynolds.
