Granville Island again offers kids and youth a free mini skateboard ramp this winter in Ocean Artworks (former Bill Reid carving shed, between Ocean Cement and the Public Market). Well lit, covered and secured, and supervised by volunteers from the Vancouver Skateboard Coalition, the ramps offer open skate for kids under 19, youth skate (check out this adorable little one!), queer skate, “gurl” skate and more .
